School Holidays October 2025: India is now entered in the festival season for 2025 with Navratri from 22 September onwards. Conclusion – School Holidays October 2025
Schools will announce Dussehra vacations soon after 27th September onwards in different states and students will get 3 to 4 days of vacation for Dussehra festival and will come in a schools on 3rd October. After that Laxmi Puja in West Bengal and their nearest locations will be celebrated on 6th October and Valmiki Jayanti is falling on 7th October. Students will again see holidays on 11th and 12th October for the second Saturday and Sunday throughout the country. After that School will open again for approximately 5 days and will again see 3 to 4 holidays in Diwali. Dhanteras is falling on Saturday 18th October, After taking a break on Sunday and coming to school on Monday, students will get vacations for Diwali on 20 October and main Diwali on 21 October 2025 . After that the Govardhan puja will be celebrated on 23 October and the bhai dooj festival will be celebrated on 23 October throughout the country.
After celebrating such festivals a new series of Holidays will again start from Monday 26 October for Chhath Puja celebration in Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi and other locations in North India.
