KEA UGNEET 2025 2nd Round Result OUT: The Karnataka Examination Association has announced the results of the second round of NEET UG seat allocation on its official website. This process has allocated 18,867 seats, including seats in government medical colleges, government autonomous medical colleges, and private medical colleges. Students will now be admitted to medical courses through this allocation. The first and second rounds of this process have been successfully completed.

  • Following this, if a candidate wishes to confirm their admission after receiving an allotment in the second round, they must pay the fees and submit the documents within the stated deadline, which is September 26th to 28th, 2025.
  • The Karnataka Examinations Organization had stipulated a deposit of ₹100,000 for medical seats. Therefore, candidates who have been allotted a seat in the second round and wish to proceed with the seat must only deposit the remaining fee.
  • After this, go to the college and complete the document verification process and receive a fee receipt.
  •  After receiving the fee receipt, the Karnataka Examinations Organisation updates the admission order on the official website.
  • And if even after all this, the student wishes to surrender the seat, the Karnataka Examinations Organisation can refund the amount deposited by the student as per the guidelines (forfeit/refund).

What to do if you don’t get a seat in the KEA UGNEET 2025 2nd Round?

Candidates who didn’t receive a seat in the second round can now wait for the notification of the mop-up or stray vacancy round. The Karnataka Examinations Association has clarified in its notification that a mop-up round will be held soon for the remaining seats. Official details will be published on the website. Before this mop-up round, the seat matrix details will be released so that candidates can view the seat matrix under the mop-up round and select college options as per their requirements.

The results of the mop-up round will then be released. Candidates who have already secured a seat in the first/second round and reported to college will not be eligible for the mop-up round. However, if candidates do not accept a seat in the first or second rounds, they can participate in the mop-up program. Here, they will have to fill their choices based on the seat matrix, lock their choices, and submit them. After this, the mop-up round seat allotment will be published. 

If a student is allotted a seat, they must again go through the process of downloading their admission order, submitting documentation, verifying, reporting, and paying fees.
